I came across a website yesterday that I have been telling everyone about ever since I found it. It is only fair that I tell you as well. The site is called, Stuff Christians Like and it is a satirical look at Christianity. Jon Acuff writes about anything that you have ever thought of in church.He does this so that as he says, “I can clear away the clutter of Christianity so that we can see the beauty of Christ.” The things that he writes about are absolutely hilarious. The only thing that I regret about this site is that I didn’t think about it first.
Some of my favorite posts include The “Pray If You Feel Led “Prayer, Understanding How Metrosexual Your Worship Leader Is (A Handy Guide), and Booty, God, Booty.
These topics are hilarious, but don’t write off this site until you read it. Because in the midst of this satire and humor, there are some real spiritual principles that we can apply to our lives.
