And I Married This Woman?

Marriage is about sacrifice, selflessness, and a willingness to place the needs of your family ahead of your own.  That is what today is all about for the Ferguson family.  I am not in this partnership for what I can get out of it.  I am in this partnership to be a willing servant, to make sure that my wife feels loved and appreciated.  Today…that is what I am setting out to do.

You see the playoffs start today.  Yet I will forgo my own desires.  Everyone will be watching this weekend. Yet I will make sure my priorities are kept in tact.  I move forward with my motto in mind.  “Happy life…Happy wife.”

Which is why I will clean the house and make sure everything is in order.  Which is why I will make sure I look presentable and am wearing the appropriate attire.  I will put on my blue jersey and make sure Madelynn is wearing hers.  Why?  Because today the playoffs start…and yes…MY WIFE WOULD NOT MISS IT FOR ANYTHING!  Can this even be right?  My wife likes football almost as much as I do!  Tonight that is what our whole family will be doing.  We will be decked out in blue shouting insanely at the TV hoping the Indianapolis Colts get a win.  Yes…I am a family man!  I’m happy to lay down my desires for the good of the family!

And I married this woman?

Go Colts!
